Because the world is in dire need of colour, Franck Muller has created a wrist watch which epitomises joie de vivre and brings back a sense of optimism and gaiety, chasing away the shadows of uncertainty hanging over this post-9/11 era. The Color Dreams collection recalls the euphoric days of not so long ago, a carefree time of beaches, fun, laughter and – why not – frivolity.

The essence of Color Dreams is captured in the bold design of the face. To the hallmark sunburst with lacquer and mother of pearl, Franck Muller has added a polychrome fantasia, with the offset appliqué numbers each taking a different colour and varying depending on the basic colour of the dial.

The variety of Color Dreams is expressed through the Long Island and Cintrée Curvex collection. Both are available in different versions: in steel or 18 carat solid gold or in a jewellery version set with diamonds (either dial insert and case or full dial and case).

As well as all time indications, the watches present the following characteristics:

• Centre Second Models : automatic movement. Platinum 950 rotor segment. Centre hours, minutes and seconds. Date at 6 o'clock.
• Crazy Hours Models : automatic movement. Platinum 950 rotor segment. Hours, minutes (Crazy Hours module).
• Quartz Model : quartz movement. Hours, minutes.
• Hand-stitched croco strap in same colours as the dials.
